Has it been two weeks since my last post?

Bo and I went to the Mardi Gras Ball in Columbus this past weekend. We had so much fun. There were over 800 people there, so we didn't get to see a lot of people. It was the 50th anniversary, which was really special. Kings, Queens and past court members for the past 50 years were there for a big procession. That wasn't very organized, but I really enjoyed watching with Bo's parents and friends. Bo was in the procession... he was a Duke in 2001. The most fun was just getting dressed up. Lizzie, Aunt Wendy, Aunt Maggie, Bebe and myself went to Atlanta to dress shop. You can see what I picked out. Bo had to wear the same old tux he's worn for 12 years. Haha!! I hope we get to go again when we are 80.

Last week was a busy week for us. Lizzie started school. I moved her to two days this week. She really can't get the hang of it going only once a week. She loves other babies and taking wagon rides, which they do everyday. I thought she might get suspended from school for not being up to date on her vaccinations. But we get to stay! I won't go into detail about my feelings on vaccines. I'll say that she is getting them, but on a schedule that I came up with based on my research. One size fits all doesn't seem like a good idea. I will also say that I do not understand why monkey serum, cow serum, aborted fetal tissue, aluminum and formaldyhyde, among a whole lot of other disgusting things are used to manufacture vaccines. Okay, I'm done.

She has five teeth and is pulling up. She also crawls, backwards. She'll get the forward crawling down soon. She sleeps in her car seat(used to scream in there) and sleeps for 9 hours in her crib at night. She may be able to sleep longer, but Bo gets up at 4:30 and she wakes up too. Then she and I snuggle until about 7ish. She is just such a big girl. I'll get the camera out soon and post new pics. But it will be after tomorrow... it's Super Tuesday!! I'm so excited to see what happens.
